SOLAR & RENEWABLE ENERGY
Over the past several years, renewable energy sources – like solar – have become increasingly important contributors to the world’s store of available energy. CFI uses our extensive civil construction background to handle all site work required. We are also able to team with any developer’s engineering firm to provide a turn-key EPC of any solar project from the ground up.
No matter if it’s a large or small site that needs to be developed, CFI has the ability to move mountains. Their experienced staff and large fleet of excavating equipment, articulated end dumps, loaders, rollers and dozers equipped with automated laser guidance can perform beyond the expectations of even some of their competitors.
Water & Wastewater
Water and wastewater treatment facilities have always been a specialty for CFI. The company’s founder, Frank Fernandez, has a background in this facet of the industry which, coupled with his construction experience, allows CFI to be competitive as a site-work contractor as well as tackle complex water and wastewater projects.
Storm drains, water lines and sewer lines are another aspect of the industry that CFI can assist with. Bypass pumping can be arranged if the current utilities are required to stay in service. Dig Safely New York is always contacted prior to breaking ground in order to locate any existing underground utilities and avoid unnecessary outages.
CFI’s experience with design-build methodology provides expedited project delivery, allowing in some cases for construction to begin while engineering is still underway.
CFI has been assisting engineers and owners for over 15 years with value engineering. Its staff will review a project prior to construction to make recommendations on the design and/or installation to lessen the construction cost without sacrificing the quality of the end product.
Equipment & Heavy Hauling Services
Their NYS licensed Class A drivers and DOT approved vehicles can transport their customer’s owned or rented equipment safely to any location. For a transportation rate quote and availability, please contact John Grant at 518-762-1378.
Full time service technicians keep CFI’s heavy and light duty construction equipment well maintained. A separate 16,800 sq. ft. facility is located at their Johnstown site and is equipped with a 12 ton overhead crane to assist in all phases of repair work. This not only cuts down on costs, but helps to keep their projects on schedule so there is no down time waiting for a third party to service their equipment. Their technicians are also available to service their customer’s equipment. Service quotes can be obtained from John Grant at 518-762-1378.
